Through UpLevel Partners, I help dental practice owners and leaders strengthen the business side of dentistry by bringing greater clarity to how their practices operate, perform, and grow. My focus is helping practices better understand their business model and how it influences operational decisions, financial performance, patient experience, and long-term strategy.
I bring a unique combination of experience to this work: 15 years in finance and operations leadership across strong national brands and the hospitality industry, combined with 15 years of hands-on experience co-leading a successful family-owned dental practice alongside my wife, Dr. Jennifer Harrison. Together, we transitioned the practice to a thriving unrestricted provider model while building systems focused on operational excellence, financial strength, and elevated patient care.
Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand how daily operational decisions directly influence profitability, team performance, and long-term practice value. That perspective shapes the work I do today. I help practices improve financial literacy, implement meaningful KPIs and dashboards, better understand production flow, identify operational gaps and profit leaks, and build systems that support sustainable growth.
In addition to consulting and strategy work, I regularly share these insights through speaking engagements, study clubs, leadership workshops, and professional organizations within the dental community. I am actively involved in several respected national dental and leadership organizations and spearhead the Practice Leadership Collective (PLC), a professional networking and study club designed to bring experienced dental practice leaders together to collaborate, share expertise, and elevate operational excellence.
Whether working with an individual practice or speaking to a room full of leaders, my goal remains the same: helping practices better connect operations, leadership, and financial performance so they can grow with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.
